The Gathering Place renter(s) agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Renter(s) must be 21 years of age to rent the facility.

2. The building will be closed no later than midnight the day of the rental.

Payment:

We accept cash, check and Venmo. (Please make checks payable to The Gathering Place.  If paying via Venmo there is an additional transaction fee included). 

Payment will be paid at the time of the signed agreement.

Payment and contract must be received seven (7) days prior to reserved date.

Arrangements for building access will be made prior to event. 

You will be notified if there is damage to the building or if the building needs extra cleaning and is not left in the condition you found it.

Equipment Available:

The Gathering Place has tables and chairs available for use.  Unless prior approval, furniture will remain on the floor originally found.  Before Renter leaves facility, the items should be returned to where they were stored prior to use.

 

Terms of Agreement:

• Renter agrees to complete the rental clean up list prior to leaving the facility.  The list will be found in the kitchen.

• No use of tacks, confetti, or glitter.  If decorating, please use tape provided by facility.

• Dish towels provided are to be used only in kitchen and to clean tables. Remove items from refrigerator before leaving facility.

• Renter is responsible for cleanup of area rented.  All personal property, trash and other items that were not present when Renter took control must be removed.

• Renter will be held responsible for all guests on the premises and will remain within designated areas of rental agreement.

• No smoking will be permitted in any area of the facility at any time.

• If cancellation is necessary, the Renter must notify The Gathering Place at least seven (7) days in advance to get their rental fee returned.

 

Liability:

Renter will be liable for any physical damages, legal actions, and/or loss of reputation or business opportunities that The Gathering Place may incur as a consequence of the actions of the Renter or any of the Renter’s guests while Renter is in control of the venue and shall indemnify and hold harmless The Gathering Place against any and all legal actions which may arise from the Renter’s use of The Gathering Place.
